Not Sure Where to Start?
If you’ve started asking yourself whether your drinking or drug use has become a problem, it’s worth paying attention to that feeling. Many people who come to Black Bear Lodge say they knew something wasn’t right long before they reached out for help.
You may benefit from talking with someone if:
- You drink or use drugs more often or in larger amounts than you intended.
- You’ve tried to cut back or stop but couldn’t.
- You feel sick or uncomfortable when you don’t drink or use.
- You’ve experienced blackouts or other health concerns related to substance use.
- You find yourself thinking about drinking or using throughout the day.
- Your substance use has affected your relationships, work or daily responsibilities.
- Family or friends have expressed concern.
You don’t have to decide today whether you need treatment. Sometimes the first step is simply having a conversation.
Is Rehab Right for Me?
Stepping away from everyday stress, routines and triggers can make it easier to focus completely on recovery.
Located in the North Georgia mountains, Black Bear Lodge offers a peaceful setting where individuals can take a break from the pressures of daily life and focus on building a healthier future. Originally a mountain resort, our campus provides a comfortable environment surrounded by nature, allowing patients to concentrate on what matters most – getting better.
Many of our alumni arrived feeling uncertain about what life after addiction could look like. They left with renewed hope, stronger coping skills and a plan for lasting recovery.
What to Expect in Treatment
Beginning treatment doesn’t have to feel intimidating.
When you arrive at Black Bear Lodge, our team will welcome you, complete your intake process and begin developing an individualized treatment plan based on your needs.
Depending on your situation, treatment may include medically supervised detox, individual therapy, group therapy, family involvement and evidence-based approaches designed to address both substance use and co-occurring mental health conditions.
From your first day forward, our goal is to help you feel supported, informed and prepared for the next step in recovery.
Does My Insurance Cover Treatment?
Many insurance plans provide benefits for substance use treatment, and understanding your coverage is often easier than people expect.
Our admissions team can verify your insurance benefits, explain what your plan covers and answer any questions you have about treatment costs before you make a decision.
There’s no obligation, and the process only takes a few minutes.
